What is it for?

Electrical behavior under dark and illumination of a solar cell. Key information that can be extracted:
• Efficiency (η)
• Open-circuit voltage (Voc)
• Short-circuit voltage (Jsc)
• Shunt resistance (Rsh)
• Series resistance (Rs)
• Fill factor (FF)

Light soaking can also be performed.

How does it work?

The sample is exposed to a calibrated light simulating the sunlight (possible to tune lighting from 0.1 to 1.1 suns).
A source meter unit equipped with 4-wire configuration allows intensity measurement under both dark and light versus a bias voltage.
The software automatically calculates the classical figures of merit of a solar cell: efficiency, open circuit voltage, short circuit current, shunt resistance, series resistance, fill factor.
A Vmpp tracking module is installed for particular perovskite solar cells measurement.
