State & Region visit of the IPVF on May 16, 2024

he Institut Photovoltaïque d’Île-de-France (IPVF) is one of the winners of the 2023 call for projects for the ‘Major innovation locations’ (GLI) under the Ile-de-France section of the France 2030 investment plan.

This institute, a flagship of French industry, is recognised for its expertise in perovskite-based thin-film technologies and is developing its ‘ProtoLinePerovskite’ project.

The French government and the Île-de-France region have pledged to invest €183m over the period 2021-2025 to encourage the emergence of innovative projects in the region that are geared towards the ecological transition.

The IPVF has received funding of €1.5 million in 2023 as part of this GLI AAP.

The institute opened its doors on 16 May to Pierre-Antoine Molina, Prefect, General Secretary for Public Policies at the Prefecture of the Île-de-France Region, Prefect of Paris, and Alexandra Dublanche, Vice-President of the Île-de-France Region in charge of Recovery, Attractiveness, Economic Development and Innovation.
